More Information

Even though I haven't been posting, I have been thinking, and I have a new addition to the Focused Enemy Ranger.

1st level: 1st favored enemy (+4), -2 on attack rolls against other enemies

2nd: sneak attack (favored enemy only) +1d6*

5th: 1st favored enemy (+8), -1 damage against enemies other than favored enemies

6th: sneak attack (favored enemy only) +2d6*, +4 bonus to hide and move silently

10th: 1st favored enemy (+12), -4 on attack rolls against other enemies

11th: sneak attack (favored enemy only) +3d6*

15th: 1st favored enemy (+16), sneak attack (favored enemy only) +4d6*, -2 damage against enemies other than favored enemies

20th: 1st favored enemy (+20), sneak attack (favored enemy only) +5d6*, -6 on attack rolls against other enemies

*=usable even against enemies who are immune to sneak attack, but you cannot use other sneak attack damage gotten from another class (example: rog 9/FE ranger 2 with undead favored enemy: when you sneak attack undead, you only get +1d6 from your FE ranger levels and you don't use any of your damage from your levels in rogue)

This improved version gets more against their favored enemy, but loses some bonuses against other enemies. They are so focused that they begin to forget the weaknesses of other enemies.

Time: More Expensive Than Gold

As my calender gets covered in tiny scribbles reminding me of things I need to do, I am finding less and less time to actually post here. If I find my schedule filled, I shall post once a week, on Saturday. If I have a lot of time, I will post more, but this is unlikely to occur.

I will attempt to post as often as possible, but most of my free time will be devoted to making things to post instead of actually posting. If there is anyone out there reading this, and is actually interested, I will attempt to post every week.

Thank you for potential flexibility!

Laeflia's Aim Preview

This is a PrC I am working on. In the world of Nondl, Laeflia is the goddess of the woodland and one of the most prominent deities worshiped by the Elves. Her favored weapon is the longbow, and she uses leaf-headed arrows. I am turning special followers of the Woodland Goddess into bow specialists with very special abilities. Here is a preview of one:

Leaf-headed Arrows: These special arrows bump the damage die up by one for shortbows, composite shortbows, longbows, and composite longbows (d6 to d8 for shortbows, and d8 to d10 for longbows).

When this PrC is finally published, and you play the latest version of our favorite game, please translate it for play in your game. You can easily adapt it to your campaign by changing Laeflia to the God/dess of the Woodland you use.

Possible Future Builds

I will also be posting a few builds myself. If you ever need something, comment on this post or a later post. I am currently working on a dragon slayer especially good at slaying frost dragons. I will post another build at a later time.

Ranger variant: Focused Enemy

These rangers are vengeful hunters looking for revenge on one species or another that dealt a serious blow to them as a child. Almost exactly like a normal ranger, these rangers trade many favored enemies for heavy training against a single enemy.

HD: d8
Alignment: Often Chaotic Neutral
Personality: Filled with hate for a single type of monster, the Focused Enemy Ranger does anything to have a go at their Favored Enemy.
Skill Points: 4X(6+int modifier), 6+int modifier

Changes in
Level 5: 1st Favored Enemy +6
Level 10: 1stFavored Enemy +10
Level 15: 1st Favored Enemy +14
Level 20: 1st Favored Enemy +18

Keep reading for more character variants!

A little something I forgot...

I will also be posting variants of classes and completely new classes here. From the Core classes to all the PrCs I can get my hands on, you may just find a new variant or interesting PrC that fits right into your campaign!

I will post my first variant in another post.

PS: If you can translate 3.5 to 4.0, than you might be able to use these, too!

Hello all who accedentally find this!

Hello!

As the name implies, I am looking for D&D character builds. I hope that someone out there still plays 3.5. Please send me your favorite builds to level 20 at Forestcopeland@gmail.com. Please level by level descriptions!

TYIA!
